Meeting the Muse: Shamanic Practices for Imagination and Insight

It’s common to wonder, “What if I’m just making it up?” when first experiencing the Shamanic Journey. But what if imagination itself is part of the answer? In Shamanism, we recognise the principle of Animism – the understanding that everything is alive – and that includes our imagination. After all, imagination is Spirit too.

In this six-day immersive training, we will deepen our relationship with the Spirit of Imagination, a most creative ally – the bridge between the seen and unseen, between our own thoughts and the realm of Spirit Kin. We’ll explore visionary landscapes, step through doors of perception, and meet guides who can awaken and expand our creative potential. This workshop is about pushing boundaries, diving into the unknown, and discovering what lies beyond the limits of what we think we can “make up.” It is an invitation to encounter your Muse and the raw inspiration that flows from the unseen.

Practical Details

• This is a six-day training.

• Participants should have experience with shamanic journeying, either through our Introduction to Shamanism course or an equivalent from another school. An interview may be required.
